FAQ's
When is everything due?
Team fee is $495 (Checks made payable to ESO Elyria Softball Organization)
If you want shirts, add $8 per shirt.

How do I know if our team has appropriate insurance?
Travel teams purchase liability and player insurance on an annual basis. This covers the team and the players in practice and during games. If you register as a travel team (such as Elyria Softball - through the ESO) your team will have proper insurance. Rec teams, pick up teams and any team not currently organized or sponsored through a  travel organization does not have proper coverage. We can insure these teams at a cost of $6 - $16 a player (rates based on age). We need your team roster and payment ASAP and no later than 8/25/2010 to get you covered.
Rates to cover you this fall:
12 and under = $ 6
13-15 yr olds = $ 7
16-18 year olds = $16

Can an individual register for Fall Ball?
No. Can an individual that wants to play Fall Ball get on a team? Yes. We will make a list of individuals that wish to play this year. With your permission, we will post your name and age on the website. When a coach contacts us looking to add players, we will pass on your phone number. Email Chris Sito with your information (name, address, phone and DOB/Age) and we will get you on the list.

Who is on the 2011 ESO Fall Ball and 2012 ESO teams?
No one! ESO will host tryouts in Mid August. At that time, Managers, coaches and teams will be determined for the 2012 season. Those teams may then form a team to play in the 2011 Fall Ball teams. ESO is an organization. No one person can determine who is on a team or what teams will be sponsored under ESO. The goals of the ESO are group driven - not individual driven. That is why it is a successful and popular organization!
